Mark's Message 2011

Poem

PGCE complete, real life has started,
Coventry still home, but housemates departed.
Without coat on mountain, no wisdom imparted,
Cold, wet and viewless, yet not too downhearted.

Interviews three, with one job to show,
At a school that's improving, improvements not slow,
Though so much is positive, behaviour's so-so,
And in one more half term, to new buildings we go,

The saddest part of this year of mine,
Was my Grandmother's death and preceding decline;
As memories, love and affection combine,
To look to the future, and the past consign.

First year in three, without knock to the head;
Though no skiing last year---essays instead.
With two trips now planned and cobwebs to shed,
Friends in the New Year, Family in Feb

I lost an allotment, I travelled around,
When stuck in St Georgen, I've no doubt I frowned;
But in a maths classroom, I'm now to be found,
So Merry Christmas to all, let this greeting resound.
